Corrections Policy

How TopBetting receives, investigates and records material corrections.

TopBetting corrects material errors openly and as quickly as the evidence allows.

What qualifies for correction

A correction may be required when a factual claim is wrong, a source has been misread, a market status has changed, a date is inaccurate, a route is broken or a material limitation was omitted.

How we assess a correction

We review the challenged statement against the original source record and any newer authoritative evidence. We do not replace one unsupported claim with another.

Correction outcomes

Depending on the issue, we may amend the text, update the evidence date, change an editorial state, add a clarification, withdraw a claim or unpublish a page that no longer meets its gate.

Material changes

Where a correction changes the meaning of a publication, the page should carry a visible correction or update note. Minor spelling or formatting repairs may be made without a formal notice.

Submitting a correction

Please identify the page, the statement in question and the supporting source. Clear evidence helps the editorial team resolve the issue faster.
